The perfect mixture of Tarantino’s irresistible, pop culture splattered dialogue, Tony Scott’s kinetic flair for action and a raft of colourful characters made True Romance a critical hit. Underappreciated at the time, it became more popular as Tarantino strengthened his grip on ’90s cinema.
